Activities Undetaken
Proposal design; co-ordination with Society for Eliminating Nepalese Iodine Deficiency (SENID), Japan, and District Health Office Sindhupalchowk; supplement iodine to pregnant mothers; follow up of infants and mothers to assess effect of iodine supplementation; assess thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) from blood samples.
