Usefulness and application of the monitoring and evaluation toolkit for indoor residual spraying by the national vector control programme (Phase V) (2011-2012)

 

Activities Undetaken

Proposal development; co-ordination with Epidemiology and Disease Control Division (EDCD) Nepal and WHO/TDR, Switzerland, Vector Borne Disease Control and Research Center (VBDRTC), Hetauda; and District Public/Health Offices of Visceral leishmaniasis (VL) endemic districts; implement research, train health workers of the VL endemic districts on M&E toolkit; data collection, data entry and analysis; preparation of periodic progress reports and final report; and dissemination the findings. The overall objective of this study was to strengthen ongoing Kala-azar Elimination Program (KAEP) in the region.
